Bishkek, May 2, 2025. /Kabar/. 20 citizens deported from the United States of America arrived in Kyrgyzstanon May 1.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the return was carried out on a charter flight on the New York-Tashkent-Bishkek route, organized within the framework of the agreements reached between Uzbekistan and the United States.
According to information from the American side, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan were detained for violating migration laws and were held in special detention centers. After completing all necessary procedures, including legal proceedings, they were included in the list of foreign citizens subject to deportation.
The report said that the foreign institutions of Kyrgyzstan in the United States and Uzbekistan were in constant contact with the competent authorities to ensure the safe and timely return of compatriots to their homeland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that violation of the migration laws of other countries, including the United States, may entail serious legal consequences, including deportation, a ban on re-entry and other restrictions.
In this regard, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are strongly recommended to strictly comply with the laws of the host country and promptly seek support from diplomatic and consular institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic if legal or other problems arise.
