Bishkek, July 1, 2025. /Kabar/. In connection with the requests of Kyrgyz citizens located in Iran, additional evacuation measures were organized, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
4 Kyrgyzstanis were successfully evacuated through the Bagzhiran checkpoint to Turkmenistan, as well as 38 citizens through the Astara checkpoint to Azerbaijan.
Currently, all evacuees have been safely returned to Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the foreign institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, continues to maintain constant contact with citizens abroad, providing comprehensive support and making all necessary efforts to ensure their safe return to their homeland.
