76th anniversary of founding of People's Republic of China celebrated in Bishkek

Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. A ceremony dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev, Chinese Ambassador of to the Kyrgyz Republic Liu Jianping, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the media, and the public.

In her welcoming speech, Ambassador Liu Jianping emphasized that 76 years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party, the Chinese people, through a heroic and arduous struggle, won national independence and founded a new China, ushering in a new era in the country's history. "Over these years, especially since the beginning of reform and opening-up, China has successfully overcome numerous challenges and achieved impressive success in the economy, modernization, and improving the well-being of its citizens. Today, China is the world's second-largest economy, ranking first in terms of manufacturing industry size, foreign trade volume, and foreign exchange reserves. The Chinese nation has made great strides and is confidently developing along the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics," the diplomat noted.

Congratulating the participants of the event, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan sincerely welcomes China's achievements, respects its development path, and supports cooperation at both the bilateral and multilateral levels. He noted that the strategic partnership between the two countries is demonstrating dynamic development: this year alone, the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and China held several meetings and reached a number of important agreements.

He noted that all these achievements were made possible thanks to the personal, trusting relationship between Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Torobaev also conveyed the congratulations from the president of Kyrgyzstan and wished health, prosperity, and continued success.
