Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. 95 buses from the Yutong company are expected to arrive in Bishkek in the near future, in mid or late November. Artur Omurzakov, chief engineer of the 2nd bus depot of the Bishkek City Transport municipal enterprise told Birinchi radio.
According to him, specialists are currently in China checking the buses for compliance with the technical specifications. After confirmation, the shipment will begin. The journey will take about two weeks. Then there will be the customs clearance, registration, and acceptance procedures for these buses. After that, they will go into service, Omurzakov noted.
He added that the purchase was made through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. These are twelve-meter, three-door buses. They have air conditioning, video surveillance cameras for the safety of passengers and drivers, and they meet all modern requirements, he said.
According to Omurzakov, the company currently operates a total of 1523 buses of seven different types.
