Bishkek, Aug. 21, 2025 /Kabar/. The next meeting of the working group under the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers on coordination of joint training of military personnel and scientific work is being held in Bishkek on August 21-22, 2025.

The meeting is being held within the framework of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the CSTO.

As part of this event, a military-scientific conference is being held for the first time on improving the CSTO military personnel training system with the participation of specialists in the field of military education from the CSTO member countries, representatives of the security forces of Kyrgyzstan, as well as independent experts.

First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlis Terdikbaev noted that the event is an excellent platform for expressing different points of view and approaches to current issues of developing military education and science within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

The meeting of the working group is being held for the 12th time. The opening of the meeting in the format of a conference took place today in Bishkek, and the meeting itself will be held on August 22 in Issyk-Kul to discuss current issues of improving the CSTO military personnel training system and developing military science.
