Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting chaired by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev was held to discuss preparations for two large-scale international events in Bishkek—the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and the 6th World Nomad Games—as well as issues related to the capital's landscaping and greening.
The Mayor's Office noted that Bishkek will host these important events in 2026, and city services are already actively preparing for them.
The meeting focused on landscaping. During the meeting, the mayor instructed the development of unified regulations for the mayor's office during major international events. This document should address public transportation arrangements, restrictive measures, the creation of fan zones, and other aspects of city logistics.
Dzhunushaliev noted the importance of the upcoming events and ordered the creation of a working group under his leadership to coordinate the preparation and implementation of the necessary work.
The SCO Summit and the 6th World Nomad Games are slated to be held in Bishkek in September 2026.
