Bishkek, March 18, 2026. /Kabar/. Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EICC) at the prime ministerial level will be held in Shymkent on March 26-27. Around 15 issues are planned to be discussed, Elimbek Kanybek uulu, head of the EAEU Coordination Department, announced at a press conference at the Kabar news agency.
According to him, one of the key items on the agenda will be amendments to the cooperation regulations. "An instruction has been adopted that special criteria and more simplified project selection mechanisms will be introduced within the updated regulations," he noted.
Furthermore, the meeting plans to discuss issues related to additional payments made by commissions as part of ongoing macroeconomic policy.
Elimbek emphasized that, in accordance with current regulations, member countries must submit annual analytical reports on the current situation within the Union and formulate their own development forecasts.
