Bishkek, June 17, 2025. / Kabar /. Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Absattar Syrgabaev held a meeting with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
At the meeting the parties discussed long-term cooperation and ongoing projects, the Transport Ministry said.
Syrgabaev expressed gratitude for the ongoing support provided by the Asian Development Bank to the country's transport sector.
In addition, the minister proposed considering the possibility of providing support from the Asian Development Bank in the matter of financing the reconstruction of the Bishkek-Osh highway, which is one of the priority projects, namely the section of the Jalal-Abad-Uzgen-Osh bypass road.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue further cooperation, the report said.
