FMs of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan note Kyrgyzstan's growing authority on int’l stage

Bishkek, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. On June 4, 2026, Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev held a series of telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.

Our international colleagues warmly congratulated the Kyrgyz side on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028, acknowledging Kyrgyzstan's growing authority and role on the international stage, the report said.

Kulubaev expressed sincere gratitude for the support of the country's candidacy and solidarity at the UN.

In conclusion, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation, both bilaterally and within multilateral institutions.
