Bishkek, July 16, 2025. /Kabar/. For the first time, a modern narrow-body cargo jet COMAC C919 landed at Manas International Airport today.
Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC reported that this aircraft was manufactured by the leading Chinese aircraft manufacturer COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China). The flight was operated by YTO Airlines.
"This significant step marks a new stage in the development of Kyrgyzstan's aviation infrastructure and strengthens international cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China," the company noted.
The opening of regular charter flights on this cargo aircraft will expand cargo transportation capabilities, improve logistics efficiency and stimulate economic growth in the region.
In addition, the schedule of regular flights is being formed and will be announced in the near future.
