Bishkek, May 27, 2025 /Kabar/. Hungarian entrepreneurs presented new technologies for retaining moisture in the soil at the Hungarian-Kyrgyz forum in Bishkek.

Richard Wattay, director of Woter & Soil, said, today's forum, where representatives of the business community of Hungary and Kyrgyzstan meet, is intended to become a good platform for effective cooperation.

“We are meeting with partners who will produce new moisture conservation products. In Kyrgyzstan, we can already see today what problems arise from a lack of water. And this technology allows us to retain moisture in the soil. It is with this company that we will sign a memorandum today,” he said.

Wattay explained that this technology can be used both during the irrigation period and during the non-irrigation period. "We had a unique project in Morocco, where the climate is very hot. Thanks to our technology, we were able to achieve 29% moisture retention," he said.
