Bishkek, Oct. 15, 2025 /Kabar/. Governor of Kyrgyzstan’s Talas Oblast Ermat Dzhumaev and Shinya Tanaka, Co-Chair of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Resource Development, signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation.
According to the Talas state administration, during the event, the parties noted that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan has been developing at a high level in recent years.
The sides also noted that partnerships will further deepen in the areas of agriculture, new technologies, information technology (IT), sports, and culture, and that joint projects will be implemented in Talas Oblast.
In his speech, Ermat Dzhumaev emphasized that such cooperation opens new opportunities for the socioeconomic development of Talas.
In turn, Shinya Tanaka expressed Japan's readiness to support regional projects and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of friendly relations between the two peoples.
