Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2025 /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the joint exercise with Collective Security Treaty Organization peacekeeping forces, "Indestructible Brotherhood-2025," and the special exercise involving a joint formation of CSTO radiation, chemical, and biological defense and medical support forces, "Barrier-2025," took place today at the Fakhrabad training ground in Tajikistan.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense, the opening ceremony was attended by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defense of Tajikistan Bobojon Saidzoda, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov, and representatives of the armed forces of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
The event began with a general formation of the peacekeeping contingents. A military orchestra played national anthems, and the national flags of the CSTO member states were raised.
