Bishkek, May 4, 2025. /Kabar/. Kabar and Xinhua News Agencies are among the most influential information resources in Kyrgyzstan and China, Candidate of Philological Sciences Aina Duyshekeeva told.
At a scientific conference held at Kyrgyz National University she made a presentation on the topic "Constructive Journalism in News Media: Using the Example of Kabar and Xinhua News Agencies".
According to her, the scientific research analyzed the specifics of the two agencies. Both Kabar and Xinhua focus on covering social issues such as housing, transportation, urban development and other aspects of public life in their journalistic practice.
“The study showed that the identified social topics are a priority for both the Kyrgyz and Chinese agencies. In addition, their materials highlight the positive results and efforts of governments in the processes of construction and development of the country. These publications play the role of a bridge between society and the state, as well as between citizens,” Duyshekeeva noted.
She also emphasized that Kabar, as the national news agency of Kyrgyzstan, focuses on international issues directly related to the country's domestic agenda. While the Chinese Xinhua Agency has a pronounced socialist orientation and is oriented towards both domestic and international audiences.
“Both agencies make a significant contribution to the development of their countries, increasing trust in the media, promoting the solution of social problems and supporting social progress. In the digital age, their role is becoming increasingly important for ensuring effective communication and strengthening public trust,” she added.
The presentation was held at the conference by Kabar Agency on the topic “The Role of the Kyrgyz National Kabar News Agency in the Eurasian Space,” which stated that one of the key tasks of the agency is to form a positive and objective image of Kyrgyzstan in the international arena.
In addition, it was noted that Kabar is not just a news resource, but an information bridge between Kyrgyzstan and the countries of the world, promoting mutual understanding, openness, trust and support within the framework of Eurasian cooperation.
