Bishkek, May 29, 2025 /Kabar/. Representatives of IT companies from more than 20 countries participate in the international KIT forum dedicated to the development of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in Bishkek.

Speaking at the forum Azis Abakirov, Director of the High-Tech Park of the Kyrgyz Republic said that this year the forum is actively discussing issues related to artificial intelligence.

He also recalled that earlier, Kyrgyz specialists had already presented their own AI-based development, the “Akylay” system, and work is currently underway on new projects in this area.

"A special event of the forum was the presentation of our compatriot Aliya Ryspek, who works at the London center of Google DeepMind. This is a great achievement and an important event for our country," Abakirov noted.

In 2025, the KIT Forum brought together about 3,000 participants. It also hosts an EXPO exhibition, in which leading universities, IT companies and startups participate. The organizers emphasize that the number of forum participants is growing every year.

"We are specifically holding the forum at the end of May so that guests from abroad can not only exchange experiences, but also enjoy the beauty of our mountains and nature," the head of the High-Tech Park added.

Special attention was drawn to the Kyrgyz AI-based startup Alkemis, which managed to attract investments of $1.3 million.

“We see this as an important step forward for our ecosystem,” Abakirov emphasized.
