Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting with a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran was held at the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, the delegation was led by Khorasan Razavi Province Governor Gholam Hossein Mozaffari and Iranian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Gholam Hossein Yadegari.
During the meeting, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation and prospects for joint projects in the agricultural and water sectors were discussed.
The Iranian side expressed interest in purchasing Kyrgyz agricultural products, organizing transnational sowing, jointly producing and exporting agricultural machinery and equipment, rational use of water resources, and collaborating in investment and ecotourism.
The head of the ministry's delegation, Zhanybek Kerimaliev, noted Kyrgyzstan's readiness to cooperate in the export of beans, rice, cotton, honey, meat, and other agricultural products.
Governor Mozaffari emphasized the key role of Khorasan Razavi Province in cooperation with Central Asian countries and proposed intensifying the promotion of joint projects, given Kyrgyzstan's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to explore specific areas of bilateral cooperation in a working manner. They expressed mutual appreciation for the constructive dialogue and reaffirmed their intention to develop practical cooperation.
