Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2025 /Kabar/. China-Central Asia Construction 2025 Ministerial Conference was held in Beijing on November 7. It brought together heads of relevant government agencies, industry departments, research institutes, and private sector representatives from Central Asian countries and China. According to the Ministry of Construction, a delegation from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing, and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic, led by Minister Nurdan Oruntaev, participated in the event.
During the conference, Minister Nurdan Oruntaev noted the importance of developing energy-efficient construction, transitioning to digital design, improving the seismic resistance of buildings, and creating an accessible and comfortable urban environment. He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan prioritizes the introduction of modern industrial housing construction technologies and the training of qualified engineering and architectural personnel.
As part of the conference, a bilateral meeting was held between Minister of Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurdan Oruntayev and Minister of Housing, Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China Ni Hong.
During the talks, the parties discussed the exchange of experience and personnel training in seismic-resistant and energy-efficient construction. They also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in developing sustainable urban environments, implementing innovations, and creating affordable housing.
