Bishkek, Feb. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan plans to purchase new aircraft, Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency Daniyar Bostonov told.
He said that during the visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Berlin, a meeting was held with Airbus President Johan Pelissier. The parties discussed the possibility of purchasing new aircraft directly from the Airbus plant. Models such as the Airbus A320neo and A321neo are being considered.
"Currently, active negotiations are underway with the management of Kyrgyzstan Airports OJSC, Asman Airlines and Airbus representatives on the possibility of purchasing these aircraft," he said.
The liners planned for purchase are designed for 170-180 passenger seats.
