Bishkek, September 18, 2025./Kabar/. Jogorku Kenesh deputies reviewed and adopted the bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Field of Taxation" in three readings, press service of Kyrgyz Parliament reports.
The information was presented by Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov. According to him, the bill is aimed at improving tax legislation, simplifying tax administration procedures, as well as creating conditions for fair competition and reducing the shadow economy.
During the discussion, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova disagreed with the provision on tax payment orders (TPO), which stipulates that if a taxpayer fails to pay a tax debt, the tax authority has the right to collect the amount of the debt from funds held in the taxpayer's bank accounts, as well as from electronic funds deposited with e-money operators, by issuing a TPO.
In turn, Tax Service Chairman Almambet Shykmamatov responded that this law, on the contrary, protects citizens' rights.
