Russian delegation arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2025. /Kabar/. On November 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic for a state visit. On November 26, as part of Putin's state visit to Kyrgyzstan, official meeting ceremony will be held at the Yntymak Ordo Administrative Building. Following this, Putin and Zhaparov will hold Russian-Kyrgyz talks there.

As Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov previously reported to Lenta.ru, the talks will focus on key issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

The leaders will also exchange views on the most pressing regional issues.

The expanded talks will address cooperation in trade, economic, energy, and migration.

The Russian delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, who heads the Russian part of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission, as well as seven ministers, including Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin, and Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev.

Also included are Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail Babich, Rosatom Head Alexey Likhachev, and representatives of other federal agencies.

The Russian delegation also includes representatives of Russian business, including Roman Abramovich, Promsvyazbank CEO Petr Fradkov, and Russian Post CEO Mikhail Volkov.

Following the talks, the presidents will sign a joint statement on deepening their alliance and strategic partnership. During the visit, the Kyrgyz and Russian Federation will also sign a number of important intergovernmental and commercial documents.

In total, as Ushakov noted earlier, seven documents have been developed, covering cooperation in the areas of education, economics, healthcare, migration, sanitary and epidemiological well-being, the development of bilateral military-technical cooperation, and agreement between the Russian and Kyrgyz postal services.
