SCO countries expanding industrial cooperation and joint projects

Cholpon-Ata, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Ivan Kulikov made a speech at the 4th Meeting of Industry Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in Cholpon-Ata.

In his speech, he noted that industrial cooperation among SCO countries is consistently developing, opening up new opportunities for expanding cooperation and implementing mutually beneficial projects.

According to Kulikov, in recent years, member states have achieved significant results in developing industrial cooperation. Joint initiatives are being implemented in mechanical engineering, transportation, the chemical industry, energy, and other economic sectors.

New manufacturing and trading enterprises are also being established, and cooperative ties between companies from SCO countries are strengthening. Kulikov emphasized the importance of creating favorable conditions for business and investment, including improving the regulatory framework and developing mechanisms to support industrial production.
