SCO member states' industrial exhibition opens in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 4, 2026 /Kabar/. The Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026 international industrial exhibition of the SCO member states has officially opened in Bishkek. This event is being organized for the first time.

More than 50 manufacturing companies from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, and China are participating in the exhibition.

The purpose of the event is to develop international industrial cooperation, strengthen economic ties, and create opportunities for domestic institutions, manufacturers, and investors. The country's technological and industrial potential will also be presented.

The main areas of the exposition are:

  • Mechanical engineering;
  • Electrical equipment;
  • Metallurgy;
  • Chemical industry;
  • Urban electric transport;
  • Energy;
  • Elevator equipment;
  • Building materials;
  • Pharmaceutical industry;
  • HVAC systems and industrial technologies.

This international exhibition will also be held on B2B and B2G platforms, where negotiations will be held between manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers. Opportunities will be created to enter new markets and develop industrial cooperation between the SCO member states.

The minister of economy and commerce, who officially opened the event, emphasized the importance of the exhibition. According to him, this exhibition will open the way for connecting and cooperating with leading industrial enterprises of Kyrgyzstan and the SCO member states.

“The Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026, an international industrial exhibition, which is being held for the first time, is an important event for Kyrgyzstan. First of all, it is a platform for communication between the state, business and investors. I am confident that thanks to it we will achieve important results - memorandums of cooperation, agreements, and the launch of new joint investment projects,” the minister noted.
