Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2025 /Kabar/. Minister of Labor, Social Welfare, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Sagynbaev met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan, Antje Grawe.
At the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development. Particular attention was paid to joint actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the areas of poverty reduction, decent employment, gender equality, social protection, and support for vulnerable groups.
Kanat Sagynbaev noted that the ministry is implementing programs aimed at improving citizens' well-being, supporting women, youth, and children, strengthening the institution of the family, and protecting children's rights. He noted that new social projects aimed at improving the population's quality of life are being developed.
Antje Grawe emphasized that the Ministry of Labor is a key partner of the UN in its work with the government. She expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and support initiatives aimed at Kyrgyzstan's social development and the principle of "leaving no one behind."
