300 electric charging stations to be built in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 3,2026. /Kabar/. Today, Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev met with Noh Sun-yeon, CEO of the South Korean company Blue Networks.

According to ministry, the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles in the country and the introduction of modern energy technologies.

At the meeting, the company announced that it plans to install 300 electric vehicle charging stations in the country by July 2026.

For information: Cooperation with Blue Networks Co., Ltd. has been ongoing since 2024. In August 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Chakan Hydropower Plant and the company on the joint production, operation and use of electric charging stations.

In 2025, a framework agreement was signed on the implementation of the project to open a production plant for the assembly, production and installation of electric charging stations in Kyrgyzstan. As part of the agreement, a joint venture was established with Revo KG LLC, the commissioning of the plant for the assembly of electric charging stations is planned for April 2026.
