Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. 66 industrial facilities will be commissioned in Kyrgyzstan by the Independence Day, August 31, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services Nurdan Oruntaev told Kabar Agency.

He said that by special instruction of the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, 128 industrial enterprises are planned to be commissioned by the end of the year.

“We are gradually completing construction work at industrial facilities. A total of 66 enterprises will be commissioned by Independence Day, the rest - by the end of the year,” Oruntaev noted.

Social facilities

The minister also reported that by August 31, construction will be completed and more than 100 social facilities will be opened.

“Today, social facilities are being actively built throughout the country. We are fully implementing the tasks set by the Cabinet of Ministers. More than 100 facilities will be commissioned by the holiday, and about 100 more are planned to be completed by the end of the year. In total, 200 social facilities need to be built by the end of the year,” he specified.

Large-scale construction projects

Oruntaev said that his ministry alone is currently building about 580 facilities across the country. At the same time, construction is also being carried out by other government agencies - the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Mayor's Offices of Bishkek and Osh, as well as other departments.

In total, about 1,000 facilities are currently being built in Kyrgyzstan.

Financing

Oruntaev noted that the state continues to increase financing for the construction industry. Thus, in 2024, 12 billion soms were allocated for these purposes. By now, according to him, the amount of funds allocated for construction in 2025 has already approached this amount.
