Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. Director of the State Institution "Center for the Development of the Halal Industry" under the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Kaiyrbekov received the delegation of the Government of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
As part of the official visit of the delegation headed by Acting Minister of Trade and Industry of Afghanistan Noureddine Azizi, events were held aimed at familiarizing the Afghan side with the development of the halal industry in Kyrgyzstan.
The Afghan delegation visited the Halal Resort boarding house in Issyk-Kul, where recreation and leisure services are provided in accordance with halal standards.
In addition, the delegation from Afghanistan got acquainted with the potential of domestic food processing enterprises specializing in the production of products that meet international halal standards. In particular, the guests visited the slaughterhouse in the city of Balykchy, as well as the Adal-Azyk manufacturing plant (TM Toy Boss).
Following the visit, the representatives of Afghanistan highly praised the achievements of the Kyrgyz Republic in developing the national halal industry and expressed interest in strengthening mutual cooperation.
Among the promising areas discussed were joint economic projects, the development of halal-friendly tourist routes for Afghan citizens, as well as the import of Kyrgyz food products that meet halal standards.
