Belarusian retail chain to purchase $1 million worth of goods from Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 4, 2025. /Kabar/. Within the framework of the international agro-industrial exhibition "Belagro-2025", a Kyrgyz-Belarusian business forum was held, at which key documents were signed aimed at deepening partnership in the agricultural and trade and economic spheres.

"KyrgyzExport" reported that a memorandum of understanding was signed between the veterinary service and the livestock breeding service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the state association "Belplemzhivobedinenie" (Belarus).

The document provides for the exchange of experience, joint projects in the field of veterinary medicine and genetics, as well as the development of livestock breeding.

A trade contract was concluded between Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and one of the largest Belarusian retail chains, Dobronom. The parties agreed to supply agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan worth 1 million US dollars, which will be an important step in promoting Kyrgyz products to the EAEU market.

The Kyrgyz Export Center presented the export potential of Kyrgyzstan, including:

priority product groups (vegetables, fruits, processed products);

logistics and transport capabilities;

state support measures for exporters;

national certification system harmonized with international standards.

The signed agreements open up new opportunities for expanding Kyrgyz exports, introducing modern agricultural technologies and developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarus in the field of food security and trade.
