Border guards serve on Kyrgyz-Chinese border in frosts down to -50 degrees

Bishkek, Jan. 16, 2026. /Kabar/. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan published photos of border guards on duty at the Kyrgyz-Chinese border in Naryn Oblast.

The Border Service noted that the service members are performing their duties in extreme weather conditions.

"It's piercingly cold, with temperatures ranging from -30⁰ to -50⁰. But they are always on duty," the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized.
