Bishkek, June 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, Minister of Finance Ruslan Suinaliev met with Ayten Rustamova, Regional Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
As reported by the Ministry of Finance, they discuss the current state and future directions of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EBRD.
The parties exchanged views on the draft Framework Agreement between Kyrgyzstan and the EBRD, as well as on the projects for electrification of public transport in Osh and the rehabilitation of water supply and sewage systems in Orlovka, Tyup, Suzak and Kochkor districts.
The minister of finance thanked EBRD for its support in implementing social and infrastructure projects in the country, noting that Kyrgyzstan is interested in further expanding cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue mutual cooperation in order to promote joint projects and further strengthen partnership relations.
