Bishkek, May 28, 2025 /Kabar/. On May 26, Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov met with a delegation of the French Business Council MEDEF, the largest united organization of employers in France.
According to the ministry, the delegation included representatives of leading French companies operating in the fields of construction, railway infrastructure, energy, renewable energy, consulting and other areas.
The parties discussed the prospects for bilateral economic cooperation, expansion of mutually beneficial partnerships and implementation of investment projects in key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy.
Sydykov gave the delegation a presentation on the economic situation in the country, emphasizing stable growth, openness to investment and priority areas of development. Particular attention was paid to the potential of the mining industry, large infrastructure projects and opportunities for foreign capital. Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation and launch joint initiatives aimed at stimulating trade and economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and France.
