Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2025 /Kabar/. Director of the Kyrgyz Export Center Urmat Takirov met today with the management of Grand Trade, one of the largest Russian importers of food and non-food FMCG products.
The Export Center reported that by the end of 2024, the company's turnover exceeded 2 billion US dollars.
During the negotiations, the sides discussed the possibility of expanding the supply of Kyrgyz products to the Russian market. An agreement was reached to hold a road show in October 2025 with the participation of exporters and producers of Kyrgyzstan, which will allow Russian partners to get acquainted with the range and potential of domestic producers on the spot.
With the assistance of the Kyrgyz Export Center, the first contract was signed today: the Nookat Almasy cooperative agreed with Grand Trade JSC on the supply of apples to Russian retail chains.
Grand Trade JSC is one of the leaders in the import of food and non-food products to Russia, cooperating with producers from different countries.
