Bishkek, July 16, 2025. /Kabar/. The harvest of early varieties of apricots has begun in Jeti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan.

The Ministry of Agriculture said that apricots are mainly exported to Russia and Kazakhstan, for this purpose buyers arrive by trucks and buy up the local harvest at a favorable price.

The price of ripe apricots ranges from 30 to 45 soms per kilogram. Locals say that this is a good price, since in previous years it did not reach 20 soms.

According to a resident of the village of Ak-Terek, this year the harvest is abundant, and there are enough buyers.
