Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. The Chamber of Accounts has completed the first phase of the Global Accountability Initiative (GSAI) project, which was implemented in 2023-2025.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Supreme Audit Institution of Poland, IDI, with the support of the European Union and the Audit Authority of Saudi Arabia.
Over the past two years, the Chamber of Accounts has been adapted to international ISSAI (International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions) standards and adopted new methodologies for financial, compliance and performance audits. In addition, special training was provided for auditors, increasing their professional level.
The institution has also desighed development strategy for digitalization, assessing the digital level of auditing, and employees have learned new methods of data analysis and IT auditing. The digital experience of the Polish Supreme Audit Institution has also been used.
Communication strategy was also adopted, internal regulations were updated, and Code of Ethics was adopted to ensure transparency and accountability of auditing in the country.
The Chamber of Accounts announced its readiness for the next phase of the GSAI project.
