Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2025. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed law on Amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, published in state newspaper Erkin Too on October 31. The document was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on September 24, 2025.
The law clarifies the regulations regarding the activities of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Key provisions of the law:
Article 9 adds that banking legislation does not apply to the activities of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Article 40 is amended to stipulate that the National Bank will not license, supervise, or regulate the activities of the State Development Bank.
The law enters into force ten days after its official publication.
