Bishkek, May 16, 2025. / Kabar /. Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Absattar Syrgabaev held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China Liu Wei.
The Transport Ministry reported that Absattar Syrgabaev noted that the volume of cargo transportation between Kyrgyzstan and China is growing from year to year, and proposed exchanging additional permits.
The meeting also openly discussed the progress of the development of the bilateral Agreement on International Automobile Traffic and the difficulties that arise when transporting large volumes of cargo.
Liu Wei expressed understanding of the issues raised by the Kyrgyz side and stated that he would take appropriate steps to resolve them. The meeting was held within the framework of the II meeting of transport ministers in the "Central Asia-China" format.
