Bishkek, April 14, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan entered the top 15 most popular destinations for Russians in terms of the number of air ticket bookings for the first three months of 2025. Such data is cited by the Kommersant newspaper.
Having analyzed Yandex Travel data, the newspaper found out that 3.2% of the Russian market was spent on booking air tickets to Kyrgyzstan. This allowed Kyrgyzstan to take 11th place out of the 15 most popular air destinations.
First place in terms of the number of bookings was taken by flights to Turkiye - a market share of 12.6%. Thailand was in second place - 9% of the market. Armenia closed the top three - 7.5% of the market.
At the same time, the cost of a roundtrip flight to Kyrgyzstan was slightly less than to Turkiye – 25.2 and 28.5 thousand rubles, respectively, and more than two times less than to Thailand – the average cost of a roundtrip flight to this country was 57.7 thousand rubles.
