Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is expanding the cultivation of citrus fruits, including oranges, tangerines, lemons, and kumquats, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

According to the ministry, 4,839 tons of citrus fruits were harvested from 1,058 hectares in 2024, compared with 3,929 tons from 801 hectares in 2023. The increase reflects the growing interest of farmers in diversifying crop production and introducing new fruit varieties adapted to local conditions.
