Kyrgyzstan's Wushu Sanda team to participate in World Championship in Brazil

Bishkek, Sept. 4, 2025 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Wushu Sanda team is participating in the World Championship in Brazil, the State Agency for Physical Education and Sports reported.

According to the information, the championship has begun on August 31 and will last until September 7. On September 2, athletes weighed in and began participating in competitions from today.

The following athletes are competing on behalf of Kyrgyzstan.

Dierbek Gapirov – 56 kg;

Temirlan Amankulov – 80 kg;

Karim Baltabaev – +100 kg.

The head coach of the combined team is Tagaibek Omurzhanov.

The World Wushu Sanda Championship is being held with the participation of athletes from more than 80 countries.
