Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2026 /Kabar/. The construction of new bus station under construction in Bishkek is 75 percent complete, head of construction work Sultanbek Turgunbay informs.
According to him, the project began on February 12, 2025. About 200 construction workers are working in two shifts.
"Currently, the monolithic works are 100% complete. Interior decoration, lighting, water, heating, sewage, fire safety works are being carried out, and the roof is 80% complete. The rooms are being distributed and tiles are being installed.
Total area is approximately 30 thousand square meters. It consists of 9 three-story blocks. Five blocks will be the main building, two blocks will go out onto the platform, and blocks 8-9 will have two wings.
The peculiarity of the station is that all conditions will be created. There will be a hotel for those coming from regions, dormitory for drivers, dining facilities, and waiting rooms," he noted.
