Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2025. /Kabar/. Construction of new Osh bazaar will be completed this summer, according to Talant Kerimkulov, head of the construction site.
"The total area of the market will be 155,000 square meters. It will include underground parking for 500 cars, 20,000 square meters of storage space, and 50,000 square meters of retail space.
The main buildings will be two stories high and comprise a total of seven blocks. Underground parking will also be provided under each block," he said.
Kerimkulov also noted that the market's vendors will be provided with indoor working conditions.
"In other words, the market will resemble a shopping mall: it will be cool in the summer and warm in the winter." The sales units for meat, dairy, fish, vegetables, and fruit will be located separately from each other.
Concrete work has now been completed, and work is underway to separate the spaces and connect the units. Once completed, the market will have approximately 10,000 retail spaces," he added.
