Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2025 /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the Zulpukar Ormonov Sports Complex was held in the city of Uzgen in the Osh region on August 23, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) reported.
The ceremony ended with a match between the football clubs "Ozgon" and "OshMU" as part of the 18th round of the Premier League of the Kyrgyz Republic.
President of the KFU Kamchybek Tashiev took part in the ceremony.
"Another important facility for the sports history of Kyrgyzstan is opening. This complex will become a center for all sports and will give young people and professional teams the opportunity to show their potential. Our main goal is to create and improve conditions for youth games and the training of professional teams in all regions," said Kamchybek Tashiev.
The opening ceremony and the match were attended by about 5 thousand spectators.
