New workshop in Kyrgyzstan’s Kadamjai produces up to 500 kg of dried fruits per day

Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2025 /Kabar/. A new workshop for drying fruits has opened in Kadamjai district of Batken region, which is the result of the initiative of a local entrepreneur with the support of the local government.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, 3.5 million soms were allocated for the implementation of the project, which went towards repairing the building and purchasing modern equipment.

The daily capacity of the enterprise is on average 500 kg of finished dried fruits. Finished products are sold both on the domestic market and exported abroad.

The main goal of the new enterprise is to process and dry local fruits to improve their quality and expand sales opportunities both on the domestic and foreign markets. The project contributes to the development of rural entrepreneurship and strengthening the region's economy.
