The service representative emphasized that daytime and nighttime patrols are regularly conducted to reduce accidents. Government agencies conduct awareness-raising campaigns on traffic rules, and inspectors assigned to schools conduct road safety lessons for students.

Furthermore, video surveillance systems that automatically record traffic violations are in operation throughout the country as part of the "Safe City" project. Effective June 1, penalties for drivers not wearing seat belts have also been tightened.

Sargashkaev also noted an increase in cases of drunk driving and noted that amendments have been made to the legislation to increase penalties.

"Therefore, I urge you to refrain from driving while intoxicated. This is important for your life and the safety of others," he added.
