Bishkek, May 20, 2025 /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temirbek Erkinov met with Deputy Head of the Directorate for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the British Foreign Office Mark Clayton, the Foreign Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on priority areas of Kyrgyz-British cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the development of relations in the trade and economic, investment, migration and mining industries.
Temirbek Erkinov noted the importance of implementing the investment Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the British company United Concrete Canvas on the construction of a plant in Kyrgyzstan, discussed prospects for cooperation with the British export credit agency UKEF, as well as the development of a National Strategy for the Development of the Critical Minerals Sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in deepening bilateral cooperation and maintaining political dialogue.
