Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic Tynchtyk Shainazarov, member of the CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic Anara Dubanbaeva and employees of the apparatus of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic are taking part in monitoring the parliamentary elections in Tajikistan on March 2 as part of the CIS and SCO observation missions.

The delegation of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic met with Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Tajikistan Khudoyorzoda Bakhtiyor Tavar. At the meeting, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan informed about the preparation and holding of elections, the work of election commissions, measures to increase the participation of young people in elections and informing voters.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic Tynchtyk Shainazarov noted that the necessary conditions for the implementation of citizens' electoral rights were created for the elections to the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and wished a successful election campaign.
Observers visited a number of polling stations. Members of the delegation had the opportunity to communicate with voters, members of election commissions, and local observers.
The voter lists include 5 million 522 thousand 88 people.
41 district and 3,549 precinct commissions have been formed, including 36 precincts at Tajikistan's foreign missions in 28 countries.
229 international observers have been accredited to participate in election monitoring.
