Bishkek, June 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, 21 people, including three Kyrgyz citizens, died in a fire at the Florist Inn hotel in the Malviya Nagar district of New Delhi, India.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kyrgyz citizens H.N., born in 1976, H.T., born in 2003, and K.M., born in 1950, died in the accident.
According to the competent Indian authorities, most of the foreign citizens staying at the hotel had traveled to India for treatment in medical institutions in New Delhi.
"The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India is in constant contact with the competent authorities of India, as well as with the relatives of the deceased citizens, providing the necessary consular and legal assistance. Currently, the issues of repatriating the remains of the deceased citizens and processing the necessary documents are being resolved," the statement said.
