Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2025. /Kabar/. As of September 30, 2025, there were 18 insurance (reinsurance) companies operating in the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the State financial supervision authority, 13 of these companies are 100% Kyrgyz-owned, and five are non-resident.
The total assets of insurance companies increased from 13.18 billion soms (9M 2024) to 14.98 billion soms (9M 2025), an increase of 13.6%. Equity capital increased by 28.8%, reflecting the strengthening of companies' financial stability.
The increase in the share of companies with Kyrgyz capital indicates a strengthening of the national financial infrastructure and the domestic insurance sector, which positively impacts public confidence and market stability.
