Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Transport and Communications Minister Absattar Syrgabaev met with Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu within the framework of the 87th meeting of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee.
The sides discussed cooperation prospects and noted the importance of the amendments made to the agreement on international road transport between the two countries.
Absattar Syrgabaev said that in 2025, a meeting of the Joint Commission of the Transport Ministries of the two countries will be held in Bishkek. And in this context, the head of the Ministry of Transport invited Abdulkadir Uraloglu to Kyrgyzstan.
The Turkish official accepted the invitation and noted that Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye are friendly countries and cooperation between the two departments needs to be further developed.
The meeting of the two ministers took place in a friendly atmosphere.
