Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2025 /Kabar/. The global Football for Schools program will be launched in Bishkek tomorrow, August 21, the Kyrgyz Football Union reported.
According to the informaton, the legend of world football, winner of the Golden Ball Hristo Stoichkov will be the guest of honor at the ceremony. His visit to Kyrgyzstan is a symbol of the program's importance for future generations.
The Football for Schools program is aimed at mass involvement of children in football, promoting education and developing life skills in boys and girls around the world. It covers all 211 FIFA member associations and promotes the integration of football into national education systems.
"As part of the program in Kyrgyzstan, schools will receive 3,600 footballs, a national seminar will be organized with the participation of FIFA instructors, and regional seminars for physical education teachers will be held," the statement said.
