Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2025 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev held meeting with Vice-President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Matteo Patrone, who is working visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. According to Cabinet of Ministers, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for the implementation of priority projects in key areas such as energy, infrastructure, and support for the private sector.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that the EBRD is a reliable partner of Kyrgyzstan, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. He highlighted the sustainable economic growth of the republic: over the first nine months of this year, GDP increased by 10%, and outlined the ambitious goal of increasing GDP to 30 billion US dollars by 2030.
The head of the Cabinet noted the key areas of the implemented National Development Program until 2030, including large-scale industrialization, the development of regional hub, support for agriculture, stimulation of tourism, and priority development of green energy.
Among the particularly priority infrastructure projects, the construction of the strategic China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway was mentioned, as well as the project for the construction of the Kambarata HPP-1 and other major initiatives.
In turn, Matteo Patrone highly appreciated the dynamic economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic and emphasized the significance of the achieved indicators. He confirmed the EBRD's commitment to further strengthening the partnership and expressed particular interest in cooperation in the priority areas outlined by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation in all the planned areas.
